In Pictures: Gunby Hall '˜ghouls' terrify 475 brave visitors for Halloween
Visitors were able to creep through the 18th century house with ‘ghouls and ghosts’ hiding in the shadows waiting to jump out of the hall’s darkened corners.
Ominous music added to the spooky atmosphere, along with elaborate decorations - including cobwebs and headless bodies laying in the beds.

Hide AdGunby Hall’s visitor experience manager Astrid Gatenby said: “It went exceptionally well - our volunteers were great and caused a few jump scares and screams from the adults, which the children found very funny.
“We had one comment in the visitor book which simply said: “New pants required”.
The National Trust site ereceived a lot of positive feedback about the event, which took place on Saturday.
Commenting on Facebook, Kathryn Locke wrote: “Such fun. Not screamed so much in years.”
