Notts: Midnight magic in the garden with Tom
Phillipa Pearce’s story was first published in 1958, and remains an acclaimed and timeless children’s classic that won the Carnegie Medal for Children’s Literature in 1959.
Tom has always been told it’s impossible to travel back in time, but when the grandfather clock in the hallway chimes 13 times, Tom is transported to a secret garden from the past.
