Queen B a night to remember
The tears started during the full hour warm up Tina Turner tribute act. I don’t know what I expected from the highly recommended Queen B, but half an evening of Tina Turner came as the real surprise.
The audience seemed to enjoy her unusual vocal interpretation of a number of smash hit songs.

Hide AdA few brave souls even joined ‘Tina’ on stage, which further added to the hilarity.
I’m not sure this was the desired effect of the show, but it was definitely one I will never forget.
Once Tina was done doing her set Queen B took to the stage for an evening sing-along featuring all the old favourites.
The audience seemed to enjoy the show and were all hauled up onto their feet by the end of the evening to join in.

Hide AdBanter between Freddie and a couple of gents in the stalls also had the audience tittering throughout.
I had never visited Lincoln Theatre Royal before and I would not hesitate to return, although I might cast an eye over any support acts before booking my seat.
