Boston opticians’ reassurance amid Covid-19 lockdown
The offer of support comes in a letter to the paper from Specsavers’ branch in Wide Bargate.
In it, store directors Amy Marshall, Joanne Curtis, and Asa Elkington open with a pledge to fellow key workers, saying they wish to support them to ‘stay on the frontline to support all of us at this challenging time’.

Addressing the public at large, the letter continues: “If you have any changes to your vision or hearing, or have a problem with your glasses, contact lenses or hearing aids, please give us a call in store on 01205 353 263.
“We will help you over the phone, and only ask you to come down to the store if it absolutely necessary.
“We are following Government guidelines in order to keep our customers and colleagues safe.”

“We are committed to the community here in Boston and look forward to the time when our town centre returns to normal and our community comes back together, stronger than ever.”
