“I have owned a hot tub for around 15 years and have always fancied become a retailer,” said Kevin. “It was a case of the right location and unit coming up to proceed with the idea.”
Due to the coronavirus, demand for hot tubs is currently outstripping supply, says Kevin. This is partly, he explained, as a result of disruption to the manufacturing process meaning there are fewer of them available, but also because of stronger consumer interest, with people spending more money on their homes rather than going on holidays. In addition, hospitality businesses appear to be looking to make themselves more attractive as staycation destinations by adding to their offer, he said.
“If you are in the market anytime soon for a hot tub, make an appointment to come and see us so we can run through available options,” he said. “We obviously have stock to sell and install now, but we can also get orders in ready for spring deliveries – if you wait until spring to come and view, there could be several months’ wait to get the specification you are looking for.”
The showroom is currently operating on an appointment-only basis due to Covid-19 restrictions.
