Pupils join forces to break down barriers
St George’s Academy has teamed up with Play Unified, a global Special Olympics campaign being delivered across the UK in partnership with the Youth Sport Trust.
The school run a multi sport Special Olympics with boccia, football and new age kurling.

Hide AdEach sport was organised by a young ambassador, who presented pupils with Spirt of the Games awards for good sportmanship.
Eighty students from Sleaford and Ruskington sites took part or officiated.
Special Olympics gold medal gymnast Holly Riseborough also joined students for the event.
Sarah Williams, Youth Sport Trust lead inclusion specialist for Lincolnshire, said: “We were delighted at the reception the games received. Pupils learnt a lot about how to be more inclusive while having plenty of fun together.”
