Enjoy some fine filth in Sheffield with Dante Ferrara
In Finery & Filth, the audience is transported back to the late 17th Century to experience the songs and poems of Restoration England.
The show is being performed by Dante Ferrara at The Shakespeare pub on Gibraltar Street on February 5 at 8pm.

Dressed in fine silks himself, he introduces the audience to the Restoration Rat Pack led by Henry Purcell, one of England’s finest composers who is also responsible for some of the bawdiest songs in the English language,
Ferrara said: “Rap and punk artists take note. It’s all been done before and it’s what your ancestors were singing.
“The only difference is that the songs are hilarious.
