Archaeologists from Durham University unearthed ancient treasures during a dig at Anston Stones recently.
Pottery and flint dating back thousands of years were just some of the finds discovered at the site, located off Worksop Road.
The exciting dig was followed by a special presentation by the university’s Professor Mark White for schools and groups at Anston Parish Hall.

“This is another reminder, if we needed one, of the significance of the Stones and how lucky Anston residents are to have it on our doorstep.”
