Jaclyn Bateman, marketing director, said the feedback had been tremendous,
“People were saying it was the best one we have held. We are delighted with how it went,” she said.

As well as fireworks, there was food and stalls.

Hide AdOrganisers were disappointed many local people chose to watch the event from locations nearby rather than support the event.
Pete Butler, of Spilsby Rotary Club, said: “It was a bit wet setting up but as the start time approached the rain stopped.
“We was hoping for a bouncy castle but with the forcast for wind the owner decided it would be to risky.
“We had a merry-go-round which was busy, glow sticks, the RLNI selling burgers etc, and stalls by Firsby fudge, Toynton school and the Rainbows which all did very well.

“The people who did come through the gates they all enjoyed the night and Spilsby Rotary would like to thank them.”
The fun isn’t over yet as on Friday, November 8, there will be a fireworks display at Skegness Football Ground, off Wainfleet Road.
The event, presented by R.Richmond & Sons, will include fairground rides, fire eating performers (7pm-8pm) and refreshments.
Gates open at 6pm and there will be fireworks from 8.30pm.
Entry is priced at £5 for adults and £3 for children.
