Jonathan Lyon, 46, of Plimsoll Way, Hull, has been sentenced for an offence in Keelby, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on February 9.
The court was told how Lyon pleaded guilty to assaulting a woman by beating her in Keelby.

Lyon was fined £1,315 and ordered to pay £100 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a £120 victim surcharge.
Lyon had originally denied the charge but changed his plea in court on February 9.
Matthew Miller
Matthew Miller, 40, of Riverview, Brigg, has had two charges against him discontinued, Grimsby Magistrates’ Court was told on February 5.

Hide AdThe court was told how Mr Miller had been accused of having possession of criminal property - namely a National Westminster cheque to the value of £4,800 - in Waltham on January 30, 2014.
He had also been accused of having possession of criminal property - namely a National Westminster cheque to the value of £7,800 - in Waltham on February 11, 2014.
Mr Miller had not entered a plea for either count, the court was told.
Both charges have now been discontinued, the court was told.

Hide AdElliott Foxlow, 19, of Main Street, Thoresway, has been sentenced for a motoring offence, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on February 10.
The court was told how Foxlow had pleaded guilty at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on January 18 to driving a Peugeot vehicle without due care and attention.
The court was told how the incident happened in Sanders Road, at the junction with Marshall Way, in Gainsborough on June 6 last year.
Foxlow has been fined £300 and his driving record has been endorsed with five penalty points.

David Golightly
David Golightly, 42, of Colonial Quarter, Marshalls Rise, Gainsborough, has been sentenced after he pleaded guilty to an assault in Caistor, Lincoln Magistrates’ Court was told on February 10.
The court was told how Golightly admitted assaulting a man by beating him in Caistor.
The offence happened on February 3, the court was told.
Golightly was sentenced to two weeks in prison.
The court was told Golightly was imprisoned due to his previous record and the serious nature of this offence.

The order lasts until further notice, the court was told.
Golightly was ordered to pay an £80 victim surcharge, the court was told.
Golightly had originally pleaded not guilty to the charge, the court was told.
Keith Asher
Keith Asher, 56, of Kirkby Street, Lincoln - previously of Avenue Nozay, Broughton - has been charged with having indecent photographs of children, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court was told on February 11.

Hide AdThe court was told how Asher is accused of having 17 indecent photographs of children in Brigg on May 13 last year.
He is also accused of possessing 21 extreme pornographic movies, in Broughton on May 13 last year, which portrayed, in an explicit and realistic way, a person performing an act of intercourse with live animals.
The final charge involves allegedly making an indecent photograph of a child in Broughton between June 11, 2013 and May 14, last year.
Asher has not yet entered a plea for any of the charges he faces.

Hide AdThe case has been sent to Grimsby Crown Court where Asher is due to appear on March 11.
He has been given unconditional bail until this date, the court was told.
The case has been adjourned.
Andrew Cottam
Andrew Cottam, 45, of Kinghtsbridge Road, Messingham, near Scunthorpe - previously of Grayingham Road, Kirton Lindsey - has pleaded guilty to an assault charge, Scunthorpe Magistrates’ Court was told on February 11.
The court was told how Cottam admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Scunthorpe.
The incident happened on January 9, the court was told.
Cottam has been given conditional bail until March 7, when he is due to be sentenced. The case has been adjourned until this date.
