Men arrested in Gainsborough as the police help tackle drug issues

Officers from Lincolnshire Police, supported by colleagues from the East Midlands special operations unit, executed the warrants at two addresses.
The men, aged 39 and 41, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and have now been released on bail.

Hide AdThis follows several warrants carried out in Gainsborough and North Lincolnshire earlier this month.
Assistant Chief Constable Kerrin Wilson said: “Sadly, those hell bent on causing harm and feeding on the vulnerable still exist but we will be relentless in our pursuit of those offenders. The public of Lincolnshire should have confidence that we will be there for them.
“While Lincolnshire remains a safe place to live and work, there are still some incidents which are of concern to our communities.
“That is why I launched our violent crime reduction initiative, in January, which focuses on preventing further victims, safeguarding victims and bringing offenders to justice.
