Donation from Lions to Epworth’s Leo
Isle Lions president Graham Guest recently presented Epworth youngster Leo Palmer and his mum Siobhan Edge with £1,000 towards a special trike and physiotherapy costs.
Leo Palmer, 3, of Birchfield Road, has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy and needed a total of £5,000 for his new wheels.
Graham said: “£4600 has already been raised by Leo’s family and friends and revenue from Siobhan’s sky dive is yet to come in. “
He added: “It is likely that they will raise the £5,000 needed for the trike. However, Leo will still need many hours of private physiotherapy at cost of £60/hour.”
