Epworth young entrepreneurs show they are no mugs
A team of youngsters from South Axholme Academy, called South Hit, recently took a trip to John Leggott College in Scunthorpe to take part in the local heat of the Young Enterprise Programme.
The pupils have been running a business since September and have grown into young entrepreneurs.

Hide AdThe team set up the South Hit business manufacturing chalkboard mugs for the Young Enterprise Programme.
A spokesman for the Academy said: “Students designed a fashion finder app and manufactured chalkboard mugs which have been a huge success.
“Pupils sold out when they attended a trade fair in Grimsby and also sold to students and teachers at South Axholme Academy.”
At the Scunthorpe contest the students were tasked with answering questions to prove why they deserved to win the competition.

Hide AdThe event consisted of an interview with the judges, answering questions on their written presentation with a PowerPoint to match.
A spokesman for the Academy said: “The competition was tough, but ‘South Hit’ ended up walking away with three awards including best ‘communication and teamwork, marketing, sales and customer focus, and finally YE South Humber best company of the Year 2015. The team had a spectacular day.”
