Epworth’s Damian Dalton Smith steals spotlight from sister Sheridan in prime time TV show
The rocker brother of actress Sheridan Smith usually heads Isle band The Torn, but steps out alone on Saturday night in a bid to impress judges including Will I Am, Rota Ora, Ricky Wilson and Tom Jones.
Damian, 39, was first asked to audition for the hit show last year, and made the televised show after competing against thousands of hopefuls. He has Torn bandmembers cheering him on as he takes to the stage solo to perform Johnny Cash’s ‘Folsom Prison Blues’.
