Fete brings community together
The visitors were treated to demonstrations by the children of Centrestage Performing Arts group and Zest dancers, both regular user groups of the hall.
One of the organisers, Gill Brooke, said: “The children’s performances must have made their mum and dads very proud, they were fantastic. There was great music too from The Kilburns to keep people’s feet tapping.”

Hide AdLots of other organisations that use the hall or are based in the village also took part. There were displays by the Glass Room workshop, Sleaford Art Group and the woodturning group.
The primary school band and choir performed, and there was face-painting, a nail bar and jewellery.
Refreshments were provided by the ladies of St Andrew’s Church as well as a barbecue, paella, a bar and ice cream.
Mrs Brooke thanked everyone for contributing to the success of the event.
She said: “Over £1,000 was raised to put towards the hall funds.”
