Gainsborough: Man is given a suspended prison sentence for possessing knife in public

A Gainsborough man has been given a three month suspended prison sentence for being in possession of a knife with a six inch blade in public.
Kieron Hardy, 26, of Noel Street, Gainsborough, has also been ordered to carry out 150 hours unpaid work, £80 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
An order was also made for the knife to be forfeited and destroyed.
