Isle academies’ fundraiser is a hit
The two academies entertained a large audience at Epworth on April 2, with 160 students involved.
The event was supported by the Isle of Axholme Lions’ Club, who supplied seven giant Easter eggs which were raffled to raise funds for the Children’s Renal and Urology Unit at Nottingham Children’s Hospital. More than £650 was raised from the raffle, ticket sales and other sources.
