A gas-fired power plant in Keadby is set to re-open, more than two years after it was mothballed.
Utility giant SSE aims to restart the 735-megawatt plant at the beginning of next month in a phased process that should see it fully operational by mid-December.
Employees working at the Keadby site will include over 20 people moved from SSE’s Ferrybridge coal-fired power plant, which is due to close down in March next year.
