More buses on busy route
Stagecoach has bought the 10 new vehicles for route 19, which links Worksop with Dinnington and Rotherham.
Gary Nolan, managing director of Stagecoach East Midlands, said: “More and more people are discovering that the bus is the best way to get to work college or go shopping.”

“In these days of high fuel and parking costs there’s never been a better time to get on board.”
The number 19 route was chosen for the investment because it is already doing well, and the company wants to see even more people using it.
The older number 19 buses - which are still buggy friendly models - will be rolled out to other local routes so even more passengers in Worksop will benefit from the upgrade.

He added: “We need new buses and we need more buses. A good public transport network is essential for times like these”
To celebrate the introduction of the new buses Stagecoach is making Monday, the 19th of December, 19 day.
Throughout the day there will be giveaways on buses along the route and competitions where customers can win free travel.

One of the new buses will be parked by Dinnington bus station throughout the day.
Stagecoach has invited residents and visitors to pop in, have a look at the new bus and pick up a timetable.
And as Christmas will be less than a week away, there will also be mince pies on offer as a festive treat.
Dinnington is also the site for the official launch at 12.19pm with Gary Nolan.
