The charity collected the Vodafone Community Connection Award after staff in its Bridge Place store chose the deserving cause. Thanks to the £1,000 award, the charity can continue to provide improve hospital care for patients. Emma Brown, Vodafone store manager , said: “We are extremely proud to give the award to the Children’s Renal and Urology Unit at Nottingham Hospitals Charity. We’ve chosen this charity as they’ve been supporting a very special little boy called Louie Orton who has Nephrotic kidney disease.” Sian Griffith, fundraiser, is pictured receving the £1,000 from Vodafone staff.
