Notts: Force signs up to emergency Twitter alerts
Notts Police is one of the 57 organisations who have signed up to the Twitter Alerts programme, which launched today (Monday 18th November 2013) in the UK and Ireland.
The programme allows the force to share critical information with members of the public by marking tweets as alerts.
The force will only send people a Twitter Alert in emergency or crisis situations to help keep the public safe.
