Old Rectory reopens to the public
Manager at the Old Rectory, Rev Claire Potter, said: “If you’ve never been before, then why not come this year? If you have been before, come back and see all the changes.”
The Grade 1 listed building is known throughout the world as the childhood home of John and Charles Wesley, who formed a movement that went on to become the international Methodist Church.

Hide AdAll visitors receive a guided tour with trained guides will explaining the history of the building and the inspiration of the Wesley family who used to live there.
The Old Rectory is an accredited museum and underway is a development project to restore the house to how it would have looked when it was occupied by the Wesley family in the early 1700s.
