Lions collect for Marie Curie
It is St David’s Day - March 1 - and the daffodils will be out in Market Rasen Market Place as the town’s Lions group support the Marie Curie charity.
Lions president Lis Eastburn said: “This is an annual event we are always delighted to be involved in.
“This year we have a permit for street collection in the market place, where we will be giving daffodils for donations on St David’s Day.
“As we will not be collecting in Tesco’s this year, please take this opportunity to donate to this worthy cause.”
