Pudsey power raises thousands for Children in Need
On Friday night the busy bear was in the spotlight at the Children in Need Variety Show at the Embassy Theatre in Skegness, which was featured live during the annual BBC fundraiser..
It was hoped the show, hosted by the Embassy Theatre Academy, .would raise £4,000.

Hide AdTalented young artists from across the area performed their interpretation of girl and boy bands across the decades.
The Embassy Academy's Miss Kerry and Miss Clare, who were comperes, also wowed their students in the audience.when they took the spotlight.
Among the artists invited to take part were Sue McGough Performing Arts of Hogsthorpe, who presented a compilation of Spice Girls songs, incorporating ballet, pointe work , street and disco , with pupils of all ages from four years to adults.
Principal Sue McGough commented: "Our performance was well-received by the warmest of audiences with 'awwwws' for the tiny ballerinas and overwhelming response at the 'Spice Girls' appearance.

Hide Ad"It was an exciting evening, especially as it was a live feed by the BBC to our regional area!.
"I was absolutely over the moon with the way my pupils performed - a terrific evening with a brilliant atmosphere."
Other performers from the area included Salsa Loca from Boston, who presented a racy 'Strictly' routine and the Richmond School, who did , including the Richmond Voices who did a medley of Little Mix songs.
Earlier in the day, the youngest children in Foundation Stage at the Richmond School dressed in their pyjamas and gave a donation of 50p.

Hide AdThe whole school had a non uniform day and the opportunity to have their face painted.
Thomas Bradbrook , in Year 3 . also donated his month's pocket money.
Service users and staff at County Care went out on a Country File inspired ramble and in the afternoon held a very successful bake sale and afternoon tea. There was a raffle and all the prizes were yellow inspired by Pudsey .
Altogether they raised over £300 and would like to thank everybody who supported them.
