Stacey will walk from The Lakes to Louth - for five very good causes
Stacey Whitworth, 46, will be setting off from Coniston on Monday morning (August 3) and is hoping to arrive in Louth Market Place at around 11am the following Saturday (August 8). The final stretch of Stacey’s 190-mile hike will see him set off from Market Rasen early on the final morning.
Stacey explained: “The walk is in aid of five charities: Blind Veterans UK, Guide Dogs UK, Alzheimer’s Society, MIND, and Papyrus.

“While it is hard to ask for donations at this difficult time, I feel that it is important to help charities where we can, even if it is to raise awareness by getting out there and supporting a cause.
“Local support has been good so far, with kind donations and with local businesses displaying posters. All of this is much appreciated.
“I am far from athletic, and this will be quite a tough challenge. I have completed a number of 100km 24-hour events, but I think this will test me, both mentally and physically. I would just like to add a thank you for the help and support given by local people so far.
