Police respond to reports of fireworks being let off in Boston street

Officers received a call yesterday (Wednesday) at about 8pm that fireworks were being let off in Queen Street.

A police spokesman confirmed officers attended the scene but could find no trace of fireworks.

Anyone found using fireworks inappropriately faces a fixed penalty fine.
