Police renew appeal after hit and run collision at MP’s Sleaford office
The incident happened at 4.30pm in White Hart Mews, off Southgate in Sleaford, when a car crashed into the bay window of MP Dr Caroline Johnson’s office before driving off.
Sleaford police say: “Following extensive CCTV enquiries the offending vehicle is thought to be a silver Vauxhall estate with a registration similar to DV51UBV. We believe the damage to the vehicle will be on the front, and it is likely that it would have caused a smashed front headlight.

Fortunately, Dr Johnson said both she and her staff had been working from home and so no-one was hurt, but said: “The landlord has had a builder out and may need to demolish and rebuild the whole window. I hope the driver comes forward as soon as possible, given the circumstances.
“It has done quite a lot of damage and quite a few pieces of car were left behind.
“It has split the window frame and cracked the brickwork both sides of the window, pushing the wall in slightly.”
She added that all equipment and any sensitive data has been removed.
