Andrew was asked by his Grand Master, Master Kim Yong Ho 9th Dan, President of the World Chungdokwan and the World Mudo Academy to be a part of this historical event, after he visited Bassetlaw and hosted a prestige seminar at the Lynx Academy last year.
The centre was officially opened in an auspicious ceremony and to mark the occasion there was a formal ribbon cutting, with British , Irish, French and Korean hierarchy.
Andrew said this experience alone was incredibly humble, and it was then followed the official speeches by Korean dignitaries and representatives from Hong Kong and Taiwan.

“The centre is home to a temple, lecture theatre, museum, library and dojang, as well as accommodation, dining and beautiful gardens,” said Andrew.
“More than 300 Buddhist monks were flown over for the grand opening and the celebrations lasted for days.
“Whilst we were in Korea, the representatives were given private tours of the island, mediated with monks and spent time with the local villagers.
