Trio retire after 41,000 visits to support the blind
Dorothy Selfe worked in the Louth and Mablethorpe area for 24 years, while Jan Gallagher covered the Skegness and Horncastle area for 22 years and Jane Cowling covered Market Rasen and Gainsborough for 30 years.
The three Sight Impairment officers visited people with severely limited sight or no sight at all at their homes and provided an expert advice and assessment service to them and their families.

Hide AdThat continuity has paid dividends for local visually impaired people, who formed long-standing relationships with Jan, Jane and Dorothy.
Now, the trio are looking forward to a well-earned retirement.
They were presented with gifts to mark the occasion at the LLBS Resource Centre in Pleasant Place in Louth on Monday June 6.
