Worksop: Shoplifter given suspended sentence so cancer treatment can continue
A thief has a prison sentence hanging over him after he was sentenced for shoplifting.
Daniel Markham, 34, was originally given a community order in December, last year, for three offences of stealing from Matalan.
But at Worksop Magistrates’ Court last week, Markham admitted to breaching the order on two occasions.

Magistrates revoked the order and re-sentenced for the shoplifting.
Markham, of Watson Road, Worksop, was given a 12 week prison sentence which was suspended for a year.
