Cordeaux cricket coach earns top marks
The Year 13 student passed his UKCC Cricket Coaching qualification in children’s cricket after a three-month course.
Matthew had to complete six online modules for self-reflection along with a daunting 66-page online exam, achieving the highest mark in his group of 92 per cent.

Hide AdThe final assessment involved working with the under 10s district team at Carre’s Grammar School, in Sleaford.
Matthew passed all aspects of the course at a competent level and was praised by mentors and tutors for his hard work and thorough approach.
Matthew coaches at Monks’ Dyke, in Grimoldby, and helps assistant vice-principal Stewart West on Saturday mornings with the Louth CC coaching at Magna Vitae Leisure Centre.
Mr West said: “Matthew always has a professional attitude, excellent technical knowledge and a good approach with the youngsters.”
