Spa men in search of more points against Grimsby after claiming the scalp of Grantham
The Lincoln side needed just 19 points to ensure top spot, but any slim hopes Grantham had of overtaking them were ended by the Spa men on Saturday.
Grantham ended their 50 overs on 239-5, Joe Irving claiming four wickets for the loss of 68 runs.

Hide AdHarsha Vithana added a dismissal but nobody could account for Grantham’s Daniel Freeman, who ended with an unbeaten 101.
However, a superb team bating performanxce from Woodhall saw them post 242-4 with four overs remaining.
Oliver Caswell top scored with 71, supported by Vithana (49), Prasanna Jayawardene (41 not out), Irving (34) and Brandan Laurenzi (15).
Woodhall return to action this afternoon as they host Grimsby Town (noon) and on Saturday they travel to Scunthorpe Town (noon).

Hide AdSpa’s Seconds secured an 89-run win against Grantham Seconds at Jubilee Park on Saturday to remain second in the South Lincs and Border League Premier Division.
Sam Cherry (68), George Lindsey (39), Connor Parsons (30), Peter Jackson (18), Anthony Longley (18) and Thomas Ashford (15) helped Woodhall to 214-7.
In reply, 10-man Grantham were dismissed for 125.
Parsons (3-32), Jackson (2-24), Cherry (2-26) and Neil Robson (2-33) accounted for the opposition.
This Saturday the Seconds host Welby Cavaliers (1pm).
Woodhall’s Sunday Firsts’ match at Fulbeck was cancelled due to the rain.
The following day the Sunday Firsts host Ancaster and the Seconds are at Hartsholme (1.30pm).
