Louth Old Boys Ladies fight back to win Premier Cup
After half-an-hour of the final, played at Gainsborough Trinity FC, the silverware looked to be heading to Grimsby as the league leaders were two goals to the good.
But then back came Louth, led by skipper and goalkeeper Sam Bailey.

Hide AdThree minutes before half-time Emma Smith pulled a goal back with an amazing strike from the halfway line.
Smith followed up with an equaliser in the second half before the league’s top scorer Becky Mason took her tally to 37 goals for the season with a brace and a Laura Smith strike gave Louth a stunning 5-2 win.
Louth player Terri Sinclair said: “Healing played really well and it was a tough game. Our manager Wally Grice is amazing and we have him to thank for this.”
