‘We’ve got a score to settle’ says skipper
The man signed by former Worksop Town boss Martin McIntosh last season wants to end a frustrating season with some silverware, and he wants to pay Frickley back for a 2-1 defeat on 9th April.
He told the Guardian: “We’ve got a score to settle with Frickley.”

Hide Ad“They beat us a few weeks back so we need to get our heads together.”
“It’s been an up and down season, but it would be nice to get a trophy for the club and for the fans, end the season on a high.”
But the former Barrow defender has warned his team-mates that they can’t put in a similar performance to the one that helped them squeeze past Penistone Church in the cup semi-final.
“Hopefully it suits us that we’re on a nice big pitch, so we can spread the play a little bit.”

Hide Ad“But if we turn up to the final with the attitude we’ve had at Penistone we’ll get turned over.”
Cotterill (left) also paid tribute to the performance of the Under 19 players who came into the squad for that semi-final win at Penistone, including Khalid Alai who came off the bench to get the winner.
“Credit to them, massively,” he said.
“You talk about attitude, they’ve got a chance, come in and shown what it’s all about.”
“They should be proud of themselves.”
