"We've lacked that person!" Craig Elliott reveals the role top of Boston United's shopping list next season
Craig Elliott has made it clear his priority is to convince his current squad at Boston United to extend their stays at the Jakemans Community Stadium.
After the current season was declared null and void, the Pilgrims boss is determined to have another crack at promotion with the side he put together in the summer.

And there is one position in particular he is desperate to bolster.
"We're looking for a goalscorer," he told The Standard.
"In this league you need someone to get you 20 goals a season and we've lacked that person.
"We had forwards who would definitely get into double figures (had the season continued)."

Attackers Jordan Thewlis and Joe Leesley had four apiece from 14 and 12 run outs respectively.
Defenders Scott Garner (4/14) and Luke Shiels (3/17) had added to the club's tally along with a number of other creative outlets: (Terry Hawkridge (2/14), Jay Rollins (2/10) and Fraser Preston (2/12).
However, it was often the miserly that defence - which had conceded the fewest in the National League North - that played an important role in a number of narrow victories.

"Most teams who do get promoted have a 20 or 30-goal striker," the manager added.
"We've had one of the best defences in the league for the past two seasons.
"We've got that good structure and it's maybe just tweaking the team, adding goals in the right area."
